Developmental Milestones

Milestones:

Rolls tummy to back and back to tummy

Props on extended arms in prone; supports self with hands in sitting

Brings feet to mouth while lying on back

Transfers toys from one hand to another

Plays with feet using both hands

Accepts weight through legs when supported in standing

Reaches with one or both hands; uses vision to orient before grasp
Milestones:

Maintains lip seal on bottle or breast with minimal liquid loss

Sucks and swallows in coordinated rhythm

Brings hands to bottle or breast during feeding

Shows interest in observing others eat
Milestones:

Babbles with repetitive consonant sounds (“da, da, da”)

Laughs

Reacts to sudden noises

Maintains eye contact with familiar person during play

Raises arms to be picked up

Is not upset by common everyday sounds

Can be calmed when upset

Smiles in response to social interaction
